Trinity Lake: Itinerary
Afternoon: Let’s assume you live in Sacramento for this particular sample itinerary. Just head up I-5 as soon as you can duck out of the office and gather the family.
Evening: Make sure to pick up a few bundles of firewood on the trip up because you’re roasting hot dogs for dinner! Don’t forget to load up the condiments. And since you’re saving so much money on the campsite, go ahead and spring for some fancy sausages.
Morning: Whip up a campfire omelet or just grab a handful of trail mix. Either way, you’ve got a big day ahead of you!
Day: Grab your camera, plenty of water, and head out for a hike. Be sure to bring a camera and plenty of water to drink. Once you’re back to your campsite put together a quick lunch (a tuna sandwich maybe?) and then head out on the boat for an afternoon of wakeboarding and tubing.
Evening: Burgers for dinner, s’mores for dessert, and an evening under the stars. Maybe you remembered to bring the guitar and can entertain the family with a few short tunes. Just remember you’ve got neighbors who may not love your singing voice as much as you do!
Morning: Take the boat out for one more spin around the lake before loading up and heading for home.
